FBI LGBTQ Threat Investigation

The FBI LGBTQ Threat Investigation centers on a federal case involving alleged online threats targeting LGBTQ+ individuals and Pride Month events in Puerto Rico. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, investigators launched the case after receiving reports of violent social media posts that allegedly promoted attacks against the LGBTQ community.

The investigation later expanded after federal agents executing court-authorized search warrants reportedly uncovered evidence leading to additional child exploitation charges.

While authorities stated they found no evidence that an attack was imminent, prosecutors allege the repeated threats and other evidence warranted multiple federal felony charges.

JRL CHARTS continues to follow developments as the criminal proceedings move through the federal court system.
