LAS VEGAS, NV — (October 8, 2026) — Australian gay pop superstar Troye Sivan is turning up the intimacy with his new “FF” official music video, featuring Felix Mayr and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gordon von Steiner.
And this time, Sivan isn’t leaving much room for interpretation.
After teasing what he described as the gayest music video of his career, the singer delivers a visually striking exploration of romance, physical attraction and the emotional vulnerability of wanting someone who hasn’t entered your life.

Troye Sivan and Felix Mayr Bring “FF” to Life
Set against the luxurious backdrop of a contemporary beach house, the “FF” music video places Sivan alongside Felix Mayr in a series of intimate moments that blend fashion-editorial sophistication with unapologetically gay storytelling.
Director Gordon von Steiner uses the architecture, natural surroundings and close physical interaction between the two performers to create an atmosphere that feels both glamorous and deeply personal.
But underneath the seductive visuals lies something surprisingly emotional.
Sivan has described “FF” as a love song addressed to a man he may not have met yet — a reflection on loneliness, anticipation and the desire for a romantic connection that remains just beyond reach.
That emotional contrast gives the music video its central tension: two men sharing an intimate visual world while the song itself explores the longing for a love that has yet to arrive.
From Nicole Kidman to Ian McKellen — Troye Sivan’s Visual Era Keeps Growing
The release continues an ambitious creative chapter for Sivan, whose fourth studio album, She’s the Best, is scheduled for October 9, 2026, through Interscope Records.
In August, JRL CHARTS covered the star-studded music video for “She’s the Best,” featuring Nicole Kidman and Sasha Colby.
Then, in September, Sivan took audiences into an extravagant medieval celebration with “Party,” featuring narration by Sir Ian McKellen.
Now, “FF” brings the spectacle into a more intimate setting, shifting the emphasis from elaborate theatrical productions toward romantic vulnerability and personal connection.
All three videos share the creative direction of Gordon von Steiner, giving this album campaign a distinctive visual identity.
