LAS VEGAS, NV — (August 29, 2026)  — Canadian independent gay pop artist Connor Nelson is turning up the heat with the official music video for his single “Supersonic,” which premiered August 27, 2026.

Channeling the sleek R&B-infused pop aesthetic of the early 2000s, “Supersonic” finds Nelson embracing full-fledged popboy energy, with a visual style recalling an era dominated by artists such as Britney Spears and Nelly Furtado.

Connor Nelson Turns Up the Heat in “Supersonic”

Set against a pulsing club backdrop, the video follows Nelson as he locks eyes with a male love interest, played by Sammy Forest, across the dance floor. Their connection drives the visual forward before “Supersonic” erupts into its biggest moment: a high-energy choreographed sequence performed under pouring rain.

But the choreography represents more than another visual element.

“Supersonic” marks Nelson’s first professional dance performance. The singer reportedly spent two months undergoing intensive choreography training specifically for the video, transforming what could have been a traditional pop visual into a major artistic milestone.

Choreographers Christian Lagasse and Kaya Tousaw helped bring the performance to life.

A Major Independent Pop Production

Produced by Ramble Films, “Supersonic” was directed and edited by Ariana Roach, with cinematography by Krystal Chan.

The production team also includes producers Sean Edwards, James Barry and Renata Calderon, backed by a sizable local crew.

On the music side, “Supersonic” was co-written and co-produced by Connor Nelson and Clarence Au (C_Infamous), further highlighting Nelson’s hands-on role in shaping both the sound and visual identity of the release.

With its club atmosphere, male-on-male romance, polished choreography and rain-soaked finale, “Supersonic” gives Connor Nelson a striking showcase as an independent gay pop artist ready to push his performance to the next level.
