Imminent Danger Pay (IDP) is special compensation available to eligible U.S. service members performing duty in locations designated as imminent-danger areas.
Effective October 1, 2026, the maximum monthly IDP rate increased from $225 to $275, with eligible troops receiving $9.16 for each qualifying day up to the monthly limit.
