NEW YORK, NY — (03-14-22) — Gorgeous 28 year-old Ansel Elgort takes the starring role in HBO Max’ original crime thriller series, TOKYO VICE (2022). The new action packed crime drama is based on Jake Adelstein’s non-fiction first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat.

The series main cast consists of Ansel Elgort, Ken Watanabe and Rachel Keller. The drama captures Adelstein’s daily descent into the neon-soaked underbelly of Tokyo, where nothing and no one is truly what or who they seem.

The 10 episodes ordered by HBO Max for Season one of TOKYO VICE will begin streaming on April 7, 2022.
