WASHINGTON D.C. — (01-07-21) — President Donald Trump concedes election lost in new video released Thursday evening. The is the first statement after Facebook, Twitter and Instagram banned him from their platforms. It also follows Spotify cancelling any accounts associated with the Trump Campaign or Donald Trump merchandise.

The pathetic statement comes after a mob of his supporters sieged the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday that resulted in the death of 5 people including a Capitol police officer.

The president struck a very different tone than in his last video published Wednesday afternoon, where he continued his lies about a stolen election that led to his Twitter account be suspended for 12 hours yesterday.

Trump condemned the insurrection on the Capitol Building that followed the “Save America Rally” at which he spoke and promised that those who invaded the building would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The one-term outgoing president in 13 days promised a peaceful transition of power to the Biden Administration and called for “healing and reconciliation.”

President Trump opened the nearly three-minute video by claiming he called the National Guard to help quell the insurrection that some believe he helped incite. However that was a lie because everyone knew that it was vice president Mike Pence who ordered the National Guard to be deployed to the Capitol.
