LAS VEGAS, NV — (August 25, 2026) — Action star Michael Jai White is back in the line of fire as the official trailer for the gritty new crime thriller Drive Through Fire makes its debut ahead of the film’s September release.

Directed by Lauren Bond and Jim Carlson, Drive Through Fire stars Carlson as Jason, a disgraced military veteran battling opioid addiction who has turned to rideshare driving while trying to put his life back together.

That fragile existence is shattered when Jason picks up a terrified woman named Kristina (Jennifer Bond) and discovers she is caught inside a human trafficking operation serving wealthy and powerful clients.

Michael Jai White Steps Into the Investigation

After Jason takes matters into his own hands and kills a corrupt congressman while freeing Kristina, the rescue unleashes a violent chain reaction. Jason suddenly finds himself hunted by traffickers, Russian mob operatives and law enforcement as he desperately attempts to keep Kristina alive.

Michael Jai White stars as homicide detective Tommy Poole, whose investigation into the congressman’s death begins exposing the much larger criminal network behind the case.

The official trailer quickly escalates from crime drama into full-scale action as Poole digs deeper into the conspiracy while Jason and Kristina struggle to stay one step ahead of the people hunting them.

Also starring Dan Bakkedahl as Viktor and Kate Duffy as Jason’s soon-to-be ex-wife Jaime, Drive Through Fire blends a fugitive thriller, police investigation and organized-crime story into one increasingly violent race for survival.

‘Drive Through Fire’ Arrives September 11

Written by Jim Carlson, the film was shot in Oklahoma and marks another action-heavy role for White, whose extensive career includes Spawn, Black Dynamite, Blood and Bone and The Dark Knight.

Drive Through Fire is scheduled to debut On Digital and On Demand September 11, 2026.
