SEOUL, KR — (October 25, 2025) — South Korean K-Pop artist and former A.C.E member Kang Yuchan officially steps into his solo era with the release of his intense new music video “The Call of the Wild.” The track serves as the lead single from his debut EP, Rebel, which dropped just one day ago under his new agency, WAY BETTER.

Opening with atmospheric synths and a pulsating beat, The Call of the Wild sets the tone for self-discovery and transformation. Yuchan’s vocal delivery rides between whisper and war cry, culminating in the anthemic line, “Just stay with me if the world fades out / If it feels like destiny.” The visuals mirror that emotion — dark, cinematic, and stripped of the idols’ usual polish, showing a man emerging from his own chaos.

Earlier this year, Yuchan made waves with his July single Champagne Poppin’, which signaled his transition from idol to artist. While that track introduced his “bad boy” persona, his new EP Rebel reveals the mind of a creator eager to defy labels and limitations. Blending dance, drum & bass, amapiano, UK garage, and trap R&B, the project embodies his own brand of musical rebellion.

“The Call of the Wild is more than a song — it’s an awakening,” said a representative from Way Better, describing the release as the first step in Yuchan’s reimagined career path.
