LAS VEGAS — (April 9, 2026) — Lionsgate has officially dropped the first trailer for Mutiny, its upcoming high-stakes action thriller starring Jason Statham — and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most explosive releases of the summer.

In Mutiny, Statham stars as Cole Reed, a hardened security specialist who witnesses the murder of his billionaire employer — only to be framed for the crime himself. Forced into survival mode, Reed boards a cargo ship and launches a one-man mission to clear his name. But what begins as a personal vendetta quickly escalates into a far-reaching conspiracy that threatens far more than his own life.
The trailer teases everything fans expect from a Statham-led blockbuster — brutal hand-to-hand combat, high-speed pursuit sequences, and tightly choreographed action set against gritty maritime backdrops. With tension building aboard a cargo vessel and across international waters, Mutiny blends classic revenge storytelling with modern geopolitical intrigue.
Joining Statham is a strong supporting cast featuring Annabelle Wallis, Adrian Lester, and Ramon Tikaram, adding depth to a narrative built around deception and survival.
Produced by MadRiver Pictures and Punch Palace, the film was shot across multiple international locations, including the United Kingdom and Malta — giving Mutiny a cinematic scale that matches its high-octane premise.
For Lionsgate, Mutiny marks another strategic collaboration with Statham, continuing the studio’s commitment to delivering action-driven theatrical releases anchored by globally recognized talent.
