OSWEGO TOWNSHIP, IL — (May 19, 2025) — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at Lovers Playground, an adult retail store located in the 1300 block of Route 30 in unincorporated Oswego Township.
Deputies responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress. According to a statement from the Sheriff’s Office, no injuries were reported, and while a weapon was implied, it was not displayed.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a green flannel shirt, tan cargo shorts, a black hat, and a red face covering. Authorities believe he fled the area in an unknown vehicle.
The incident remains under active investigation. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, including the Oswego, Montgomery, Yorkville, and Aurora Police Departments.
