WASHINGTON, D.C — (09-16-24) — President Joe Biden made history this week when he sat down with Christopher Kane of the Washington Blade, America’s oldest LGBT news media outlet. Biden sat down in the Oval office with Christopher Kane to discuss how his administration is considered to be the most pro-LGBT administration in American history, and how his administration will continue to be a strong advocate for LGBT rights.
“My dad used to say that everyone’s entitled to be treated with dignity,” Biden told the Washington Blade. “As a consequence of that, most of the things that I’ve done have related to just [what] I think is basic fairness and basic decency.” said Biden.
