NEW YORK — (11-19-18) — Only right-wing hate group ADF, the Alliance Defending Freedom, would tell right-wing Fox News host Laura Ingraham that they are the victims.
That’s right, Alliance Defending Freedom vice president Jeremy Tedesco, was interviewed by Laura Ingraham last Friday over what Jeremy Tedesco calls, an attack on religious freedom. The interview highlighted the newly uploaded electronic billboard that is now on display in Times Square that reads, “No Gays Allowed. STOP Alliance Defending Freedom. Learn more at NoGays.org.”
NoGays.org were attempting to bring awareness to ADF which is known to finance multiple lawsuits in an attempt to reverse marriage equality. They are also staunch supporters of religious discrimination against the LGBTQ community.
ADF is also behind the financing of the cakeshop case where the religious right scored a victory in the Supreme Court. That case allowed a baker to refuse service to a same-sex couples based solely on his religious beliefs.
The ADF was named a ‘hate group’ by the Southern Poverty Law Center which both Laura Ingraham and ADF VP Jeremy Tedesco played victim of discrimination in the interview.
Tedesco told Ingraham that the ADF only promotes First Amendment rights and would even take the cases of gay plaintiffs.
