In the series, Dempsey portrays Angelo Doyle, a feared New York hitman who has built a quiet second life as a devoted family man in a small town. But when he is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, his carefully controlled world begins to unravel. As his memories slip away, Angelo must piece together his past before it gets his family killed.

When a mysterious attack targets his loved ones, Angelo is forced back into the violent underworld he tried to escape — racing against his deteriorating memory to uncover who is behind the threat and why.

FOX describes the series as a gripping mix of crime thriller and psychological drama, blending explosive action with emotional intensity as Angelo fights to hold on to his identity, his family, and his humanity.
