BLACKPINK Ignites Global Comeback with Explosive ‘JUMP’ Music Video Drop

SEOUL, KR — (July 12, 2025) — BLACKPINK is officially back — and they’re not holding anything back. After nearly three years without a group release, the global K-pop phenomenon returned on Friday (July 11) with the premiere of their high-energy anthem “JUMP,” accompanied by a stunning new music video that’s already trending worldwide.

The hard-hitting track first made waves during the kickoff of BLACKPINK’s World Tour DEADLINE in Goyang, South Korea, last weekend. Fans got an early taste of the visual spectacle earlier this week when the group teased the “JUMP” MV, sending BLINKs into a frenzy.

“JUMP” sees BLACKPINK pushing sonic boundaries into hardstyle territory, with an all-star writing team that includes TEDDY, Diplo, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, and Jesse Bluu. The production is equally loaded, helmed by Diplo, 24, Boaz Van De Beatz, Zecca, and Ape Drums.

The track marks a bold new era for BLACKPINK, both musically and visually, as they launch into a massive 31-date world tour covering 16 cities — including two-night stadium shows in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, and London. Their first U.S. stop kicks off this weekend at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

After that, the World Tour DEADLINE will electrify major markets across Europe and Asia, with confirmed stops in France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong.

“JUMP” also signals a major comeback for the quartet following a multi-year break, during which each member pursued solo careers. From JENNIE’s acting debut in The Idol to LISA and ROSÉ’s solo chart-toppers, each member carved their own lane — but fans have been eagerly awaiting their reunion.

BLACKPINK hasn’t released new music as a group since 2023’s The Girls, tied to Blackpink The Game, and their last full album was 2022’s Born Pink, which topped the Billboard 200.

“JUMP” is now streaming across all major platforms. Watch the official music video below.
