LAS VEGAS, NV — (03-10-25) — Marvel Entertainment drops its official trailer for Thunderbolts* (2025), its upcoming American superhero film about a group of antiheroes that are caught in a deadly trap and forced to work together on a dangerous mission. Based on the Marvel Comics team Thunderbolts, the film stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Edward Pierce, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the Thunderbolts* film is intended to be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film is directed by Jake Schreier and written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.

Synopsis:
“After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.”
