Synopsis:
“Monte” centers around Luís, who has a heart attack and then “decides to retreat to a mountain house belonging to his ex-husband, Galo,” the synopsis reveals. “Luís intends to move away from what he wants the most — his young boyfriend, Mario, who is unwilling to let him go so easily. In the same mountain refuge where he spent his childhood, Luís will be forced to confront his fear of death and old age, while he fights the desire to keep Mario by his side.” – Javier Ferreiro
