WASHINGTON, D.C. — (09-09-24) — Minnesota Governor and democratic vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz, slammed Republicans for targeting LGBT Americans with their never ending conspiracy theories during a speech he conducted at the national dinner for the Human Rights Campaign, that Republicans are wasting their time pushing conspiracy theories that LGBT Americans are trying to “turn your children gay”, instead of using their energy to talk about gun shootings in schools.
The Minnesota governor condemned the GOP’s anti-LGBT campaign against Americans, saying “this is what these folks are focusing on.”

Walz: This is what these folks are focusing on. Like reading about about two male penguins who love each other is somehow going to turn your children gay… It’s a fact of life some people are gay, but you know what’s not a fact of life? That our children get shot dead in schools. pic.twitter.com/tFAXOMkZNG

Walz comments that have gone viral with over 3 Million views comes in the wake of last week’s school shooting in Winder, Georgia, where 14-year-old Colt Gray is alleged to have killed two students, two teachers and at least nine others people on campus.
