LINCOLN, NE — (07-03-23) — A deranged man wielding a screwdriver was arrested on June 22 after threatening an employee at the Doctor John’s adult store. According to police, the incident took place around 5:40 p.m. when an employee at Doctor John’s located at 710 N 48th St, told 59-year-old Daryl Stokebrand to leave the store several times.
Instead of leaving, Stokebrand pulled out a screwdriver and tried to stab the employee. The employee hit Stokebrand and held him down on the ground until police arrived.
Stokebrand was arrested on terroristic threats, suspicion of attempted first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
