EAST HAVEN, CT — (09-27-22) — East Haven police are hoping the public can help identify a male suspect who used a machete to rob a popular adult store on Foxon Road last Sunday night.
Police told JRL CHARTS Pleasure Products News that the armed robbery took place at the Romantix adult store located at 815 Foxon Rd, around 6:30 p.m. last Sunday night. The suspect entered the store weilding a machete and demanded the clerk to give him the cash from the register.
Employees on duty at the Romantix adult store described the suspect as a Black male wearing a gray Under Armour sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a surgical mask and dark sneakers.
He was last seen driving west on Route 80 toward New Haven in a silver Honda with tinted windows. Thankfully no one was injured during the robbery.
