NEW YORK, NY — (08-09-22) — 74-year-old Robert Fehring, was sentenced to 30 months in jail last Wednesday, following the domestic terrorist pleading guilty to the charge back in February 2022 for mailing dozens of violent threats to LGBTQ advocacy individuals and organizations for more than 3 years.
According to New York prosecutors, Robert Fehring threatened to blow up the historic Manhattan bar Stonewall Inn. He also threatened to place explosive devices at the 2021 New York City Pride parade that would “make the 2016 Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting look like a cakewalk,” referring the 2016 massacre in which 49 people were killed and dozens wounded at the popular gay nightclub ‘Pulse’ in Orlando, Florida.
Fehring also left messages that he would kill, shoot and bomb LGBTQ affiliated businesses and individuals, including an African American-owned barbershop in Brooklyn that the psychopath wrote in one letter, “is the perfect place for a bombing.”
Now this disturbed individual can sit in his cage for 30 months to contemplate his barbaric actions.
