LOS ANGELES — (03-23-20) — Girlfriends Films Distribution announced on Monday that it has suspended its DVD replication division due to the coronavirus guidelines issued by Governor Newsom of California.
The company announced that it is unable to print and fill orders, but will have product ready to ship when production resumes. The brand’s production flagship porn label Girlfriends Films, had previously announced a production moratorium beginning Thursday, March 12 following the World Health Organization’s declaration of the coronavirus outbreak as a global pandemic.
Below is the official statement from Girlfriends Films on its Decision to Pause DVD Replication:
“We appreciate your business, and we are doing everything we can to protect our staff, crew and talent, while continuing to produce quality products for all of our customers,” reads the statement. “Please be safe [and] follow the advised [safety] protocols. We look forward to working with you all to get things back on track as soon as this global threat has subsided.”
