KAMLOOPS, BC — (03-08-19) — Adult store robbery took place Thursday night at the Dr. Love Hemp City around 8:15 p.m.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie of the Kamloops RCMP, says the male suspect in the adult store robbery and, who had his face covered and didn’t brandish a weapon, entered the Dr. Love Hemp City adult store located at 521 Victoria St, demanded money from the cash register.
“As there has been a number of robberies in the downtown core in recent months, Kamloops RCMP advises store owners/managers to review security protocol with their employees and asks everyone to report any suspicious activity they see,” said Shelkie.
The suspect tied to the adult store robbery at the Dr. Love Hemp City store is described as 5’10” to 6 feet tall, slender build and wearing a long navy blue parks with a fur-lined hood. It also had a block toque that has a white stripe along the rim. He also wore dark pants.
Luckily the employee nor customers were harmed during the robbery.
