HOLLYWOOD, CA — (02-08-19) — Orion Pictures released the official trailer of the 1988 cult classic remake, CHILD’s PLAY. The 21st Century updated version of the cult classic horror film, in which a single mother gives her son a much sought-after doll for his birthday, only to discover that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.

One thing that was changed in CHILD’s PLAY was the name. The doll’s name is Buddi, not Chucky. Orion Pictures is being tight lipped on who will play the voice over for Buddi. No word if Oscar nominee Brad Dourif returned to play the voice of the iconic doll character.
