MONTGOMERY, AL — An adult novelty store employee is fighting for his life tonight as he became the latest victim in a string of adult store robberies. According to police, the X-Mart Adult Superstore’ suspect is considered armed and dangerous. They are asking for the public’s help identifying the ‘X-Mart Adult Superstore’ suspect who pulled the trigger in an armed robbery gone bad.
Capt. Regina Duckett of the Montgomery police department told said the armed robbery took place around 5:20 a.m. at the ‘X-Mart Adult Superstore’ located at 3500 Birmingham Highway (Map It). When officers arrived to the adult novelty store they found the adult store employee suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was quickly transported to the hospital where he is currently in critical condition.
Police have released surveillance photos from the ‘X-Mart Adult Superstore’ of the suspect. They are also now offering a $1,000 reward for his identity and/or arrest. The suspect is currently being sought on charges of armed robbery and first-degree assault. Anyone with information on this case are asked to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP immediately.
