Welcome to the Latino Equality Alliance (LEA) tag page, hosted by JRL CHARTS LGBT Politics – Los Angeles News. Here, you’ll find the latest on LEA’s remarkable work supporting Latinx LGBTQ+ communities across Boyle Heights, Bell, and Southeast Los Angeles.

Founded in 2009 in response to California’s Prop 8, LEA is a Latinx LGBTQ+ nonprofit committed to building power through advocacy, youth leadership, family acceptance efforts, and community organizing.

LEA operates key community hubs, including Mi Centro in Boyle Heights and Mi SELA in Bell, offering safe spaces, mental health services, youth programs, and cultural resources.
