“I Warned Myself” is Charlie Puth’s first new release of 2019 and his record label Atlantic Records, is wasting no time in heavily promoting his sick new hit, “I Warned Myself”.
Atlantic Records released Puth’s new music video on Wednesday August 21 and within only 6 days, “I Warned Myself” MV scored over 10 Million views on YouTube.
The concept created by director Brendan Vaughan, shows Puth serving up plenty of somber glances as he sings about an intoxicating relationship. “You mess with my heart/ Now you’re the reason why/ Warned myself that I shouldn’t play with fire/ I can tell that I’ll do it one more time,” sings Puth.
