LAS VEGAS, NV — ( July 31, 2026) — PeterFever has officially launched its newest original series, Ocean Heat, introducing viewers to an authentic behind-the-scenes story inspired by content creator and app developer Ocean Hanx.

Filmed in Spain during the European Grabbys events, the new production combines real-world collaborations with cinematic storytelling while highlighting Hanx’s innovative Plaiir networking platform.

The series follows Hanx as he navigates his career, develops creative partnerships, and showcases how his app helped shape the production itself, giving Ocean Heat a unique premise that stands apart from traditional studio releases.

“Welcome to splendid Spain, where the weather is moderate, the attitudes are cool, and the men are always hot. When Ocean Hanx first started doing collabs, he realized it can be hard to find the men he was looking for. A very smart entrepreneur, Ocean developed ‘Plaiir,’ his own app that shows where the like-minded, collab-seeking men are and what they’re looking for,” a series description explains. “In Ocean Heat: Making Waves With Ocean, we see the pro in action on his app, as he finds what he needs and makes some spicy episodes.”

The production stars Ocean Hanx, John Rodriquez, Johnny Hakson, and Grabby Award-winning performer Mika Ayden. According to PeterFever, the series documents Hanx’s creative journey while capturing the friendships and collaborations that developed during filming.

A studio representative described the project as one that “documents Ocean building his career in porn, finding the right guys to fuck, and navigating a friendship that turns into much more.”

Mediterranean Setting Adds Authentic Atmosphere

Lensed in Torremolinos, Spain, during the European Grabbys festivities, Ocean Heat uses the vibrant Mediterranean backdrop to complement its documentary-inspired approach.

The studio noted that the location “brings a sunny Mediterranean setting to its unique story,” giving the series an energetic visual identity while reflecting the atmosphere surrounding one of Europe’s largest LGBTQ industry gatherings.

PeterFever CEO Praises Authentic Storytelling

zBUCKz CEO Danny Zeeman believes Ocean Heat delivers exactly the type of genuine storytelling that today’s viewers appreciate.

“Ocean Heat is exactly the kind of authentic storytelling we love creating at PeterFever. Ocean brought something truly unique to this project by stepping outside the studio and using his own app to connect with real creators during the European Grabbys, resulting in genuine chemistry and unforgettable encounters. It gives the film an energy you simply can’t script.

“Huge kudos to director Guy and the entire crew for beautifully capturing not only the incredible action, but also the excitement, spontaneity and adventure of Ocean’s unforgettable journey through Spain,” Zeeman added. “I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together, and I think fans are going to feel that authenticity from the very first scene.”

Ocean Hanx Reflects on Bringing Plaiir to the Screen

Hanx explained that Ocean Heat represents more than just another production, describing it as the intersection of his personal journey and the creation of the Plaiir platform.

“I’m incredibly grateful to be part of Ocean Heat. What makes this series so special is that it’s based on my real experiences. It follows not only my journey as a creator, but also the idea that grew out of that journey. Something that started as a personal challenge eventually became Plaiir, and seeing those two parts of my life come together in one project is something I never imagined. I’m thankful to PeterFever and the entire team for telling that story in such an authentic way.”

Director Guy Criss Blends Reality and Fiction

PeterFever in-house director Guy Criss said the project blurs the line between documentary and scripted entertainment by building the series around Hanx’s real-life collaborations.

“This is a great example of life imitating art … or art imitating life, perhaps,” the director said. “With Ocean’s app for collabs and our series based on his collabs from his app, it’s hard to know where exactly the lines of fact and fiction are blurred. Ocean and his men of Europe add the cherry on top of PeterFever’s latest creation.”

PeterFever confirmed that new episodes of Ocean Heat will premiere every other week, with the debut installment now available on the studio’s official platform alongside the newly released trailer.
