BARCELONA, Spain — (July 31, 2026) — Talent Testing Service Europe (TTS Europe) has recommended a temporary Europe-wide production hold after a male performer in Spain tested positive for syphilis, prompting an industry-wide health response focused on testing, contact tracing, and performer safety.
According to the organization, the positive test was confirmed by a clinic in Spain on July 14, leading health officials and participating studios to recommend suspending productions while potentially exposed performers are notified and evaluated.

Temporary Pause Supports Performer Health
Talent Testing Service Europe said preliminary information indicates the performer worked with multiple individuals during the potential exposure period, and some of those contacts may not have been aware of the possible exposure at the time.
The organization released the following statement:
“A clinic in Spain has confirmed that a male performer tested positive for syphilis on July 14. Preliminary information indicates the individual worked with several performers during a potential exposure period, and not all may have been aware at the time.
In the interest of health and safety, all industry productions will be temporarily paused while appropriate measures are taken.
Nikki’s Models, Jul Models, and Brill Babes support this decision. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.”
Health Protocols Designed to Limit Further Exposure
Temporary production pauses are a long-established precaution used within the adult entertainment industry whenever a confirmed sexually transmitted infection requires additional testing and contact tracing. These measures allow performers to receive appropriate medical evaluation while helping reduce the risk of additional exposures.
Studios including Nikki’s Models, Jul Models, and Brill Babes have publicly endorsed the temporary suspension while health protocols remain in effect.
Talent Testing Service Europe indicated that additional updates will be released as new information becomes available and as the contact tracing process progresses.
