NEW YORK, NY — (May 22, 2026) — CockyBoys has launched its cinematic summer rollout with the release of “The Getaway,” a romance-driven feature directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jake Jaxson and starring returning fan favorite Kane Fox alongside newcomer Dex Devall.

Set along the scenic California coastline, “The Getaway” centers on two men stepping away from the pressures of everyday life in search of adventure, emotional connection, and meaningful companionship. The production blends cinematic visuals, destination-inspired storytelling, and emotionally driven performances designed to deliver a more immersive viewing experience for audiences.

According to CockyBoys, the project embraces themes of spontaneity, attraction, and authentic chemistry while highlighting the emotional side of modern LGBTQ-focused entertainment storytelling.

Director Jake Jaxson explained that the inspiration behind “The Getaway” came from his decades-long relationship with husband and creative partner RJ Sebastian.

“I’ve had the incredible privilege of sharing my life with my husband and creative partner, RJ Sebastian, for 26 years,” Jaxson shared. “Those moments of laughter, spontaneity and connection became the inspiration for ‘The Getaway.’ At its core, the story is about escape, attraction and being fully present with someone you care about.”

The release also marks the beginning of CockyBoys’ broader summer campaign, which the company says will feature elevated production quality, cinematic storytelling, and visually rich destination-themed content throughout the season.

Industry analysts continue to note that premium LGBTQ entertainment brands are increasingly investing in narrative-driven productions and high-end cinematography to differentiate themselves in the competitive streaming marketplace.
