Four years after the events of the previous film, Peter Parker — once again portrayed by Tom Holland — is living alone in New York City after voluntarily erasing himself from the memories of those closest to him. With his identity forgotten by friends and loved ones, Peter dedicates himself entirely to protecting the city as Spider-Man.

But as crime escalates and the responsibilities of being Spider-Man intensify, the pressure begins to take a dangerous toll. The trailer hints at a mysterious physical transformation affecting Peter’s abilities while a new wave of crimes signals the rise of one of the most formidable threats he has ever faced.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is written by longtime Spider-Man collaborators Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers and is based on the iconic Marvel comic characters created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

The production team is led by Kevin Feige, along with producers Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Rachel O’Connor. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito and David Cain.

Joining Holland in the new chapter are returning and new cast members including Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo, promising a powerful ensemble cast that will expand the Spider-Man universe in unexpected ways.

Produced by Marvel Studios, the film represents a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of Spider-Man, shifting the character into a darker, more isolated stage of his journey.

With the trailer already dominating social media and video platforms worldwide, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated theatrical releases of 2026.

The film will arrive exclusively in cinemas worldwide on July 31, 2026.
