Fans of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan are getting their first look at the franchise’s next chapter as the official trailer for “Jack Ryan: Ghost War” has arrived.
LAS VEGAS — (March 17, 2026) — John Krasinski returns as CIA analyst-turned-field operative Jack Ryan in the upcoming espionage thriller “Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on May 20.
The new installment expands the popular spy franchise that began with the hit streaming series in 2018, delivering another high-stakes mission for the intelligence officer who often finds himself pulled from behind a desk into dangerous global operations.

In “Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” Ryan discovers a suspicious pattern of international bank transfers that leads him into a widening web of terrorism and geopolitical intrigue. His investigation quickly evolves into a deadly cat-and-mouse chase spanning Europe and the Middle East, as a rising extremist leader prepares a devastating attack targeting the United States and its allies.
Several fan-favorite characters return alongside Krasinski, including Wendell Pierce as Ryan’s mentor James Greer, Michael Kelly as intelligence operative Mike November, and Betty Gabriel as CIA Director Elizabeth Wright.
New cast members joining the franchise include Sienna Miller, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild.

The film is directed by Andrew Bernstein, who previously worked as an executive producer and director on Season 2 of the series. Bernstein directs from a screenplay written by Aaron Rabin, based on a story developed by Krasinski and Noah Oppenheim.
Produced by Krasinski, Andrew Form and Allyson Seeger, the production filmed across several international locations including Dubai, bringing the franchise’s signature globe-trotting espionage style to the big screen.
