The video, published on The Sun’s official YouTube channel, captures the moments leading up to the high-speed collision that occurred last July on Route 15 in Westport, Connecticut.

According to the footage and previously reported details, McMahon was recorded traveling at speeds approaching 115 mph before rear-ending a BMW and striking a guardrail with his Bentley Continental GT Speed.

The rapid viewership surge suggests significant public interest in the incident, with the footage circulating widely across news platforms and social media.

Dashcam video shows the luxury vehicle swerving through traffic before the collision. After impact, smoke and debris can be seen on the roadway as the heavily damaged Bentley continues briefly before pulling over.

Trooper Interaction Captured on Camera

In the footage, a Connecticut State Trooper approaches McMahon’s vehicle following the crash. The airbags appear deployed, and the front end of the Bentley shows visible damage.

The trooper informs McMahon he had been clocked at approximately 115 mph.

“I’m trying to catch up to you and you keep taking off. You almost hit I think 115 miles an hour,” the trooper says in the video.

McMahon responds that he was not attempting to outrun law enforcement and stated he was on his way to visit his granddaughter for her birthday. He also indicated he had not driven the vehicle in some time, describing the high-performance car as “too fast.”

No Life-Threatening Injuries Reported

Authorities indicated there were no life-threatening injuries reported in connection with the crash. McMahon declined medical attention at the scene.

The Bentley Continental GT Speed, valued at approximately $300,000, was later towed due to significant damage.

Officials have not publicly indicated additional developments beyond the documented traffic investigation.

Ongoing Public Interest

The release of the footage has renewed conversation around high-speed driving and roadway safety, particularly when it involves prominent public figures.

McMahon, a long-standing figure in professional wrestling history, stepped away from WWE leadership in recent years but remains widely recognized in sports entertainment circles.
