The updated leadership team reflects Starship’s longstanding commitment to internal growth, strategic expansion, and people-first leadership.

Kelly Rogers — CEO, President, Owner & CFO

At the helm of the organization is Kelly Rogers, who continues serving as Chief Executive Officer, President, Owner, and Chief Financial Officer. Rogers directs company-wide strategy, oversees the executive leadership team, and guides long-term growth initiatives including new store development and technology infrastructure modernization.

Rogers’ relationship with Starship began in 1997 when he provided IT and security services to the company. In 2001, he officially partnered with founder Huff. Since then, Starship has expanded to 21 retail locations throughout the Southeast—primarily across the greater Atlanta region, with one store in Tennessee—nearly quadrupling its size under his leadership.

“Starship has always been about people first—our customers, our teams, and our partners,” Rogers said. “This leadership team represents decades of passion, dedication and growth within our company. I’m incredibly proud to be working alongside leaders who truly understand our culture and who are deeply committed to taking Starship into its next era.”

Tiffany Hope Rogers — Executive Vice President

Executive Vice President Tiffany Hope Rogers oversees Starship’s vice president team while shaping brand development, marketing strategy, private-label expansion, and company-wide strategic alignment.

Hope brings a strong academic and research-based foundation to her leadership role, holding a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Community Empowerment and Program Development, along with graduate certifications in Nonprofit Management and Health and Wellness Coaching. Her early career included survey research and evaluation work supporting government and higher-education grant programs, grounding her leadership style in data-driven decision-making.

Since joining Starship in September 2018 as a district manager, she advanced rapidly—becoming vice president in December 2019 and Executive Vice President in April 2025.

Richard Rogers — Vice President of Distribution & Partnerships

Now serving as Vice President of Distribution and Partnerships, Richard Rogers oversees purchasing strategy, warehouse operations, and vendor relationships across the company.

Richard began his Starship career in January 2007 at age 18 in an entry-level warehouse position. His steady advancement included assistant buyer (2009), buyer (2010), and later lead buyer that same year. After gaining additional industry experience outside the company, he returned in 2021 and by 2024 had overseen purchasing across every major product category—including pipes, the only department he had not previously managed.

His role now bridges internal supply-chain operations with strategic vendor partnerships across Starship’s expanding retail footprint.

Joseph “Joe” Cheek steps into the role of Vice President of Operations, overseeing all store-level operations as well as headquarters support systems.

Cheek began with Starship in 2008 as a store clerk and steadily advanced to store manager, district manager (2016), lead district manager (2024), and now Vice President of Operations as of January 2026.

Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in strengthening operational standards, improving performance metrics, and cultivating leadership development through accountability and behavior-based coaching.

Internal Growth as a Corporate Philosophy

Starship’s restructured executive team underscores one of the company’s defining characteristics: leadership development from within. From warehouse roles to corporate strategy, each executive has built their career inside the organization.

The leadership team is now focused on:

  • Expanding Starship’s retail footprint

  • Strengthening private-label product lines

  • Deepening vendor partnerships

  • Elevating pleasure-based education initiatives across the Southeast
