Universal Pictures has released the official teaser for Disclosure Day, offering a haunting first look at a world on the brink of revelation. The teaser sets an ominous tone with the chilling line: “If someone showed you, proved it to you—would that frighten you?” As the countdown begins, the film suggests that the truth may soon belong to all seven billion people on Earth.

The film boasts an all-star cast led by Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place), alongside Josh O’Connor (Challengers, The Crown), Colin Firth (The King’s Speech, Kingsman franchise), Eve Hewson (Bad Sisters, The Perfect Couple), and Colman Domingo (Sing Sing, Rustin).

Disclosure Day is based on an original story by Spielberg, with a screenplay written by longtime collaborator David Koepp, whose previous work with the director includes Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Collectively, those films earned more than $3 billion worldwide. Koepp also penned the screenplay for 2025’s Jurassic World Rebirth.

The film is produced by Kristie Macosko Krieger, a five-time Academy Award® nominee (The Fabelmans, West Side Story), alongside Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment. Executive producers include Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.

With its cryptic imagery and philosophical undertones, Disclosure Day signals Spielberg’s return to the genre that helped define his career—blending awe, fear, and human emotion against a global-scale mystery.
