The story follows Shinya Suzuki (Ryoma Takeuchi), Japan’s Latin dance champion, and Shinya Sugiki (Keita Machida), the perfectionist known as “The Emperor,” Japan’s reigning ballroom champion ranked second in the world. When Sugiki proposes that Suzuki join him to compete in the elite “10 Dance” — a grueling contest requiring mastery of five Latin and five ballroom styles — the two begin a physically and emotionally charged partnership that blurs the line between rivalry and romance.

Training side-by-side with their dance partners Aki Tajima (Shiori Doi) and Fusako Yagami (Anna Ishii), their clashing egos and opposing temperaments transform into an intense bond fueled by jealousy, admiration, and desire.

Featuring a powerhouse cast — Ryoma Takeuchi, Keita Machida, Shiori Doi, Anna Ishii, Shinya Hamada, Oshiro Maeda, Nadiya Bychkova, Susie Trayling, and Pasquale La Rocca — the film is directed by Keishi Otomo (Rurouni Kenshin, The Stranger).

Adapted from the beloved manga serialized in Weekly Young Magazine by Kodansha, 10DANCE delivers a story of artistry and vulnerability told through the rhythm of ballroom movement.
