Starring Johnny Donovan as no-nonsense pledge dad Bennett Sutherland and Andrew Delta as campus menace Reed Blackwell, Pledge Daddy: Bend the Pledge opens with a full-force frat intervention. “He loves stirring the pot. He wants attention—but knows just how far to push without getting kicked out,” says Delta, describing his rebellious character Reed.
But this is no empty performance. In real life, Delta revealed the role was a chance to channel his inner teenage troublemaker:
“I’m laid back and agreeable, so this was fun—just the opposite of who I am. I gave Reed some of my teenage rebellion but cranked the volume all the way up.”
Meanwhile, President Montgomery, played by Jayden Marcos, lays the heat on Bennett to correct the problem, or else. The solution? Let’s just say Bennett doesn’t believe in second chances—and he definitely isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
