Ludvig Sentenced to 45 Years for TheGuySite Murder

TAMPA, FL — (July 27, 2025) — Gay porn actor Richard Lam, known to fans of TheGuySite.com by his screen name “Ludvig,” has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the gruesome 2023 killing of adult film producer William Futral.

As part of the plea agreement, Lam also admitted guilt to grand theft auto, a charge stemming from the theft of Futral’s car, which he used to flee the scene and evade law enforcement during a week-long manhunt across Florida.

Lam was sentenced to 45 years in state prison, to be served without the possibility of parole, along with 5 years for grand theft auto, to run concurrently. He will also serve 10 years of probation upon release. At age 30, Lam will be 75 years old by the time he’s eligible for release—if he survives that long.

Murder, Manhunt, and Disturbing Confession

Lam and Futral had a volatile personal and professional relationship, dating back to 2020 when Lam began performing on TheGuySite.com (now pointing to the bro network). In that time, he appeared in nearly two dozen hardcore gay sex scenes, many marketed with a raw, amateur military edge.

In May 2023, Lam was arrested after slashing Futral’s neck open with a sharp object—believed to be a knife or cutting shears—and leaving a blood-soaked crime scene at the victim’s Tampa home. According to law enforcement, the apartment walls were covered in splatter, and Futral died at the scene.

Lam fled in Futral’s vehicle, sparking a multi-county search that lasted a week before he was taken into custody.

Even before his arrest, Lam had already begun to unravel. Authorities confirmed that he sent disturbing text messages to a friend confessing to the crime, which were later shared with investigators. Those texts reportedly included vivid language, expressing guilt, rage, and a warped sense of justification.

History of Violence and Legal Troubles

Lam’s criminal record stretches back years. In 2021, he was arrested and charged with rape involving another man in Florida. That charge was later reduced to domestic violence by strangulation, to which Lam pleaded no contest in 2022. He was placed on probation for that offense—and was still on that probation when he killed Futral just months later.

“This was a calculated and emotionally fueled act of violence,” said a source close to the case. “The defendant had a documented history of abuse and disregard for the law.”

Legacy of TheGuySite.com and Industry Reaction

Founded by William Futral in the early 2000s, TheGuySite.com was a pioneer in showcasing authentic, amateur gay men—often military-themed or “real guy” performers. While the site eventually closed operations, its catalog and fanbase left a lasting impression on a segment of the gay adult industry.

Futral was seen by many as a polarizing figure—equal parts trailblazer and recluse. News of his murder sent shockwaves through the adult film community, with several former performers expressing disbelief at both Lam’s actions and the brutal way in which Futral’s life ended.
