NEW YORK, NY — (June 17, 2025) — Austin Wolf, the once-celebrated gay adult film star whose real name is Justin Smith, is expected to plead guilty to federal charges of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), according to court documents reviewed by JRL CHARTS Gay Adult News.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York confirmed that Smith intends to enter a guilty plea as part of an agreement with prosecutors. His plea hearing is scheduled for Friday at 11:45 a.m., per public filings and confirmations from The Advocate.
Court Filings Reveal Intent to Plead Guilty
In a formal letter submitted to the presiding federal district judge, Smith’s attorney, Thomas H. Andrykovitz of Midtown Manhattan, stated that his client will plead guilty to a mandatory minimum federal charge that carries a significant advisory sentencing range under the United States Sentencing Guidelines.
Smith’s arrest came after a months-long investigation that linked him to the distribution of CSAM through the encrypted messaging app Telegram. The U.S. Department of Justice reported last summer that he had exchanged graphic and deeply disturbing material, including videos of children—some as young as infants—being sexually assaulted.

FBI Investigation and Digital Evidence
Federal investigators tracked Smith’s online activity between March 24 and March 28, 2024, during which he allegedly shared CSAM with another unnamed individual. That individual’s phone was later seized under a federal search warrant.
To confirm Smith’s identity, an undercover FBI agent engaged with the anonymous Telegram user and obtained personally identifiable information, conclusively linking the account to Smith. On April 21, 2024, agents executed a search warrant on Smith’s residence, where they discovered a memory card containing hundreds of CSAM videos.
Smith was subsequently arrested and remains in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
From Porn Star Fame to Federal Charges
Known professionally as Austin Wolf, Smith appeared in over 100 gay adult films for major studios including MEN.com, NakedSword, and Raging Stallion. At the peak of his career, Wolf was a widely recognized figure in gay porn—famous for his rugged persona and dominant onscreen roles.
His fall from industry stardom to federal indictment has shocked both fans and colleagues alike.
