WASHINGTON, D.C. — (03-18-25) — U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes issued a preliminary injunction blocking president Trump’s ban on Transgender military service. The judge blasted the Trump administration actions with this order.
The preliminary injunction indefinitely blocks an executive order by Trump which aimed to ban transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military. The ruling, made by U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes, said that “The ban demeans transgender people and lacks legitimate basis, returning military policy to its Biden-era policy allowing transgender service.”

Judge Reyes delayed her order until Friday morning to give the administration time to appeal.
“The court knows that this opinion will lead to heated public debate and appeals. In a healthy democracy, both are positive outcomes,” Reyes wrote. “We should all agree, however, that every person who has answered the call to serve deserves our gratitude and respect.” said Reyes.
Army Reserves 2nd Lt. Nicolas Talbott, one of 14 transgender active-duty service members named as plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit, told the AP that he was holding his breath for the decision coming down next week. “This is such a sigh of relief,” said Talbott. “This is all I’ve ever wanted to do. This is my dream job, and I finally have it. And I was so terrified that I was about to lose it.” said Talbott.
Needless to say, the Trump regime says they will appeal the court’s ruling. We will continue to follow this case and bring you developments as they become available.
