WASHINGTON D.C. — (02-07-25) — US President Donald Trump sends shockwaves through Washington by revoking former president Biden’s security clearance. Writing in a post on his Truth Social, Trump wrote: “There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information.”
Trump further stated that his regime would therefore be revoking his security clearances and daily intelligence briefings. “JOE, YOU’RE FIRED,” wrote Trump.
This is nothing more than pay back from when Biden revoked his security clearance and intel briefings back in February 2021. Biden justified revoking Trump’s security clearance by calling Trump’s behavior “erratic”.
Republicans in a statement today, were quick to defend Trump’s decision by saying that former president Biden “set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents”.
