PALM BEACH, FL — (02-04-25) — Popular Florida drag queen Shannon “Big Momma” Atkins was arrested allegedly for making violent threats against President Donald Trump. The 46-year-old bakery owner in Palm Beach County was taken into custody during a traffic stop.

Palm Beach police say that during the traffic stop, Atkins was allegedly found with three baggies of cocaine in his possession. He is now faces felony charges for his social media written threats against president Trump and felony drug possession.

drag queen Shannon “Big Momma” Atkins is well known for hosting drag brunches in South Florida. In fact he is reportedly a close friend of Casey Anthony, the infamous “tot mom” acquitted of her daughter’s murder.

The FBI and Secret Service initiated an investigation after receiving a tip from a man in Okeechobee that Atkins had made a “disturbing” social media posts about killing the Trump.

One post read…“America needs one good bullet to be saved.”

The popular drag queen allegedly admitted to making and publishing the posts but insisted he was “just joking.”

According to court documents, he is now under home confinement with restrictions that include no social media and no contact with the First Family. Atkin’s was released on a $15,000 bond.
