JAFFA, ISRAEL — (11-03-24) — A male suspect walked out of court 24 hours later after attacking two Transgender women with a hammer. The male suspect told the court that he did not attack the two Trans women because of their gender identity but because of a road rage argument. This after his violent attack on the two transgender women in Jaffa on Saturday.
The Transgender women, 17 and 21, told police on scene that they had been riding their scooter together in Jaffa when a car pulled up next to them. The passenger allegedly spat on them and then got out of his car at the next stop light to attack them with a hammer.
After being hit on their hands and chest by the man with a hammer, the woman sprayed the hate crime terrorist with pepper spray. The women also told police that they believed it was a terror attack because they couldn’t believe that this man would just randomly attack someone because of their gender identity.
Especially when the man allegedly called them “gays and Cocksianel (a Hebrew slur for trans women in Israel) while being attacked. He then followed up by threating to kill them if they ever saw them again.
In the unidentified male suspect’s defense, he told the conservative court that “it was not an attack based on gender orientation, but an argument about the use of the road.”
Following that, the man was released without any further consequences.
