LOS ANGELES, CA — (07-04-24) — Samuel Woodward, the man accused of killing his former classmate Blaze Bernstein in an anti-LGBTQ and anti-Jewish hate crime, was found guilty by a jury on Wednesday.

Gay Teen Blaze Bernstein Murder Suspect Charged With Enhancements

Blaze Bernstein’s body was found in a lake forest park in January 2018. The Jury heard evidence that Samuel Woodward was associated with a neo nazi hate group and had planned the hate crime murder. The conviction means Woodward faces life without the possibility of parole. Woodward will be back in court for sentencing on October 25th.
