COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — (06-07-24) — Colorado Springs Police have confirmed that they have arrested 41-year-old Richard Adams in connection with the First Amendment Adult Bookstore robbery
Back on May 21, at 10:23 p.m., CSPD officers arrived to a reported robbery located at the First Amendment Adult Bookstore located at 220 E. Fillmore St. Upon arrival, officers were told by employees on duty that a single male suspect used bear strength pepper spray on an employee and then stole all of the cash from the register.
Detectives discovered during their follow up investigation, that a former employee was identified as a suspect in the adult bookstore robbery.
According to the CSPD, on May 30, detectives located the suspect around the 700 block of S. 8th St. From there, Richard Adams was located and arrested without incident.
