TAMPA, FL — (06-03-24) — Mayor Jane Castor, Councilman Alan Clendenin, and other city officials celebrated bringing in PRIDE Month with a special LGBT flag-raising ceremony outside Old City Hall on Monday.
The event marks the beginning of Pride Month 2024, a time dedicated to celebrating LGBT culture, uplifting LGBT voices, and supporting LGBT rights.
Pride Month, celebrated throughout the entire month of June, is an important time for the LGBT community to come together in support of diversity, inclusion, and equality. The Tampa flag-raising ceremony outside Old City Hall, was a vibrant demonstration of Tampa’s commitment to these values.
