WASHINGTON, D.C. — (04-15-24) — Idaho Gender-Affirming Care Ban has just been upheld by the US Supreme Court. The conservative packed Court has ruled in favor of Idaho’s enforcement of a ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth, reversing lower courts’ decisions.
This conservative move on the LGBT Community has sparked outrage from advocates for health and safety of Idaho’s transgender youth, while right wing conservatives took the US Supreme Court ruling as a victory for child protection.
The Supreme Court’s decision allows the enforcement of the Idaho Gender-Affirming Care Ban while lawsuits over the law proceed.
