EVANSVILLE, Ind. — (10-30-23) — Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the popular Lovers Playground on North Main Street back on Monday Oct 23. EPD officers were dispatched to a hold-up call at the Lovers Playground around 11 p.m.
When officers arrived, they say the suspect was already gone.
When officers arrived on scene, they spoke the adult store employee who said that a male suspect armed with a knife entered the store and demanded cash. According to detectives, the suspect made off with $260.
