TEL AVIV — (06-08-23) — A 33-year-old homophobe was arrested on Thursday after he approached the Tel Aviv LGBT Pride Parade area with an electric taser, pepper spray, a sharp spike and an unidentified chemical substance.
According to the Tel Aviv District Israel Police, the suspect has a record for threatening harm members of the LGBT community in Tel Aviv.
Plus despite the heavy police turn out for the Tel Aviv PRIDE Celebration, the Tel Aviv’s LGBTQ Center was vandalized with a Kahanist slogan.
However on a brighter note, the 2023 Tel Aviv PRIDE Parade has turned out the be a huge success, with over 100,000 in attendance.
