Cash Taken at Gunpoint from Adult Store in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, OH — (12-14-22) — A Youngstown Adult Store became the latest victim in an armed robbery that took place last Saturday night. Youngstown police confirmed to JRL CHARTS Pleasure Products News that a gunman got away with cash Saturday evening after robbing the Adult Toy & Gift store located at 1410 Market St.

Police were called at 8:50 p.m. to the Adult Toy & Gift store where an employee told officers that a male suspect who had been in the store earlier in the day, returned wearing a ski mask and pulled a gun on the employee and demanded cash.

The male suspect at first made the employee step out from behind the counter but then made her go back when he could not open the register, said police. The gunman forced the employee to open the register, took over $83 in cash and then ran away out of the store going west on Cleveland Street.
