ATLANTA, GA — (12-06-22) — Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) will retain his Senate seat and now serve a full six-year term after defeating Republican Herschel Walker in Tuesday’s runoff election.
CNN, FOX News and MSNBC called the race just after 9:30 p.m.
A senior advisor to the Walker campaign has confirmed to JRL CHARTS LGBT Politics News that he will concede the race and not contest the results.
The win gives Democrats a 51-49 majority in the Senate which will now allow the Democrats to confirm more common sense judges to the bench, protect LGBTQ rights and make sure that the crazy bills that are sure to come out of the GOP controlled house are not going to see the light of day.
